Pet Portraits

Through my company, Lynne Srba Pet & People Portraits in Raleigh, NC, I have sold custom pet portraits all across the United States and internationally. My unique ability as an artist to create a realistic likeness of your pet in any position, pose, or expression based on photographs you provide has made me one of the most sought after artists for pet portraits.

I prefer to meet with clients whenever possible, but non-local clients can complete a “How to Get a Portrait” sheet and mail it along with at least five photographs of their pet. The photographs you send should show various characteristics of your pet. You should note which features from each photograph are your favorite (for example, best eye color, best expression, etc.) I will then be able to create a realistic portrait of your pet based on these photographs.

I always provide a sketch for approval before completing any pet portraits. Upon approval and receipt of a 50% deposit, I will begin working on your custom portrait. The balance is then due upon delivery. All original photographs will be returned to you.

Pet portraits can be drawn or painted in your choice of oil, ink, colored pencil, watercolor, or acrylic. Prices start as low as $100 and are based on portrait size and art medium chosen (i.e. ink, watercolor, etc.) As a special courtesy for my clients, I also provide a laminated mini reproduction of your custom portrait that can be used as a refrigerator magnet or even a pin.
